Hosted within the equally as inexplicable Kazimier, the eleventh instalment of PM tips its hat to Hill Valley High's premier social get together. The 'Enchantment Under the Sea Dance' sees Birmingham's The Cedar House Band aptly fill the room with the slickest of Rockabilly jams, while Pete Bentham and The Dinner Ladies support with the tongue in cheek pop you expect from one of the corner stones of Liverpool music with the resident PM DJ's complementing throughout.
In a time when far too many things/people feel the need to reference the Fox and Lloyd voyage into 50s americana, time and time again PM has proved to be a solidly entertaining event, it has the distinct ability to remain kitsch and off the cuff without taking itself seriously in the slightest, Highly recommend giving it a look.

I knew that would happen. I wrote a short philosophical appreciation of your willingness and compulsion to share and look more deeply into life... then it disappeared at the click of the mouse. Well, ain't that life in a nutshell!!
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember using the analogy of taking the bumpy road, so you know you are traveling, you feel it in every judder of your bones...
Enjoyed reading your thoughts.
